ANTHONY L. JOHNSON 🇰🇳

Mr. Johnson is the Managing Partner of Johnson and Associates and brings with him a wealth of experience and a diversified practice. He is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor and Notary Public for twenty-one (21) years. From May 1996 to December 1997, Mr. Johnson worked as an Associate in the Law Firm of Joseph S. Archibald & Co. in Road Town, Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. In January 1998 he returned to St. Kitts and was employed as the Chief Legal Officer of the National Bank Group of Companies, until January 1999 when he joined the firm of Lee Moore and Associates. During the period August 2001 to October 2016, he was a Partner at the firm of Dublin and Johnson.
Mr. Johnson’s areas of specialization at the firm include Citizenship and Immigration, Conveyancing and Real Estate Property Transactions, Corporate and Banking Business and Company and other Business Formation.
Currently Mr. Johnson is the President of the St. Kitts Nevis Football Association having been first elected in 2009 and re-elected in June 2013 and again in June 2017. During this period the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis rose to its highest ever position on the FIFA International Rankings and secured scholarships and professional opportunities for a number of young St. Kitts and Nevis local footballers.
VADEESHA JOHN-BROOKES 🇻🇨
Attorney-at-Law, Junior Partner
Mrs. John-Brookes is a Junior Partner at Johnson and Associates. She graduated from the Norman Manley Law School in 2015 on the Principal’s Roll of Honour and was the recipient of The Sir Henry I. C. Browne Prize for having the best combined performance over the two years in Civil Procedure and Practice, Criminal Practice and Procedure, and Trial Advocacy. She is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor having been called to the Bar of St. Vincent and the Grenadines in November 2015 and the Bar of St. Kitts and Nevis in November 2016. In September 2015 to July 2016 she worked as a Legal Officer at the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Mrs. John-Brookes was assigned to the Civil Asset Recovery Division of the FIU and consequently was primarily responsible for the making of Cash Detention and Forfeiture Applications, Applications for Production Orders, Restraint Orders, Property Freezing Orders and Recovery Orders in the Civil Jurisdiction of the Court.
During her stint at the FIU, Mrs. John-Brookes was successful in receiving Forfeiture Orders for in excess of Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Dollars Eastern Caribbean Currency (EC$250,000.00). She was also the attorney involved in the first Property Freezing Order obtained in the jurisdiction of St. Vincent and the Grenadines pursuant to their Civil Asset Recovery Provisions as contained in their Proceeds of Crime Act.

SHABAZZ M. JOHNSON 🇬🇧🇰🇳
Mr. Johnson was called to the Bar of St. Kitts and Nevis in December 2016. Mr. Johnson is a holder of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus, a Master of Laws (LL.M) in International and Commercial Law from the University of Buckingham, United Kingdom and a Legal Education Certificate (LEC) from the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica. In 2015, he completed his legal internship at the law firm of Gonsalves Parry where he served for ten (10) weeks.
Mr. Johnson’s areas of specialization at the firm include Criminal Law, International Law, Probate and Succession and Conveyancing and Real Estate Property Transactions.
HADYA DOLPHIN 🇰🇳
In July 2018, Ms. Dolphin obtained her Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of the West Indies, Mona Campus. She then matriculated into the Norman Manley Law School where she served as the Organization of the Eastern Caribbean States Class Representative during her two years at the Law School. She then graduated in 2020 receiving the Raphael Codlin Prize which was awarded to the Most Outstanding Year II students and the Beresford Hay Prize for having the best performance in Probate Practice and Procedure.
During her academic pursuits, Ms. Dolphin also engaged in a number of internships including serving at the Magistrate Court, District ‘A’, Basseterre, St. Kitts; the St. Christopher and Nevis High Court Registry; the Attorney General Chambers in the Government of St. Christopher and Nevis and the Law Firm of Gonsalves Parry.
Ms. Dolphin joined the legal fraternity in January 2021 having been called to the Bar of St. Christopher and Nevis to practice as a Solicitor and Barrister. She became an Associate at the firm in April 2021 and is committed to serving clients with efficiency and dedication.
JAVED DANIEL 🇧🇧
In 2020, Javed Daniel left his Barbados home to join the firm as an Associate. Currently, he is a general practitioner in both the civil and criminal arenas, with emphasis on civil litigation. Javed received a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill in 2018. In 2020, he successfully completed the requirements for the Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School. In 2021, Javed successfully completed a Legal Advocacy course taught by the Hon. Mr. Justice Iain Morley QC and the Inns of Court Advocacy Academy through UWI Cave Hill. Javed was called to Bar in the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis in 2021.
Throughout his schooling, Javed was actively involved in many student activities. He served as Treasurer for the UWI Cave Hill Advent Fellowship Society, for which he also performed on stage through acting. He was a member of the UWI Cave Hill debate society. Javed also distinguished himself in advocacy. In 2015, his team won the Clarke Gittens Farmer Mooting competition and received the best memorial prize at UWI Cave Hill. He also utilized his competency in advocacy to propel his team to the final round in the 2019 Hamel Smith Mooting Competition at the Hugh Wooding Law School.
Javed previously served as a legal intern in the offices of the Solicitor General, National Housing Corporation and the Ministry of International Business in Barbados where he amassed knowledge in the areas of contract law, land law and international business respectively.
In his spare time Javed enjoys a settling down with a good book, noting his favourite author as John Grisham. Javed is a past member of the Barbados Pathfinder Band where he once served as Band Orderly and Lead trumpeter. While in Barbados, he joined the Leo Club of Barbados East and engaged in various service activities such as beach clean ups and feeding the homeless. After leaving Barbados, Javed continued his passion for community service and development by transferring to the St. Kitts Basseterre Leo Club where he is presently an active member with hopes of becoming the president and leading the club to higher heights.
KNICOLIA HUGGINS 🇯🇲
Mrs. Huggins is a qualified paralegal having obtained her Associate of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of the West Indies Open Campus, St. Kitts. Mrs. Huggins was previously employed at the firm of Lee Moore and Associates from October 2000 to August 2001. Subsequently, she joined Dublin and Johnson in August 2001 and worked there until October 2016 when the firm was dissolved. She therefore brings with her sixteen (16) years of experience.
AVRIL BLANCHETTE 🇰🇳
Ms. Blanchette is a qualified paralegal having obtained her Associate of Science Degree in Paralegal Studies from the University of the West Indies Open Campus, St. Kitts. She is also a Certified Real Estate Agent having obtained certification in The Real Estate Salesman Course from the University of Technology, Jamaica. Ms. Blanchette was previously employed at Dublin and Johnson for fourteen (14) years.

Mr. Samuel is the holder of a Customer Service Certificate from the University of the West Indies Open Campus, St. Kitts. Mr. Samuel was previously employed as an Office Assistant at Dublin and Johnson from 2008 until October 2016 when the firm was dissolved. He therefore brings with him over eight (8) years of administrative experience.
