Record Requests

A Police Record or Police Clearance Certificate (PCC), known also as ‘Good Conduct Certificate’ is a proof of the person’s criminal record or the lack of it in a certain jurisdiction. In St. Kitts-Nevis, the certificate is issued by the Government of St. Christopher (St. Kitts) & Nevis - Royal St.Christopher & Nevis Police Force and it indicates that the person is not accused or does not have any criminal precedents.

The position is similar in Saint Lucia. However a form is used to apply for the certificate. For Saint Lucia, an applicant will also be required to submit fingerprints and two passport sized photos.

Why do I need a record check?

A police record check is a tool to help employers or other agencies determine an applicant's suitability for certain types of opportunities. Record checks can be used in addition to interviews, reference checks and verification of credentials or licences.

St. Kitts-Nevis passport applications are also to be accompanied by a police record. It may also be required as part of the visa, citizenship, or residency process.
